Ive tested all but two parts of my pc that recently died out of the blue.

It is down to my CPU which is a 1 month old Xeon E3-1231 V3 and my 3 year old MSI Z97 Gaming 3 which i recently moved to a new case.

Which part is the probable cause and if it is the motherboard what is a good replacement?

The most likely issue is the motherboard, CPU's tend to outlast the motherboards by far.

What happens when you try to turn on the computer? Do the lights turn on at all does anything happen? If yes then the board could be the problem if no then it is likely the CPU hope this helps.

Nothing at all happens when i press the power button so rip mobo
