Team Dark Ram Compatibility

I am planning to upgrade my current build to a Ryzen 5 1600 with an MSI B350 Gaming Plus motherboard. I am looking to purchase the Team Dark 16gb memory kit (2x8gb), and would just like to know if the ram will work with the motherboard. I understand the memory will more than likely not run at the stock speed of 3000 mhz, but I just want to know if the system will work with the memory installed.

 

Personally, I see no reason why this memory would not work but I would like some other opinions on the matter. Thanks! :)

They will work as long as you update the BIOS to the latest version, I have the B350 PC MATE and the same RAM kit and it runs at it's rated 3000MHz speed.

The difficulty comes with how to update the BIOS if the RAM is incompatible with the version that comes on the motherboard out of the box preventing it from POSTing.
