I wanted to have a second opinion on if i should go with this for a budget gaming pc also i went with the graphics card i did because it is... i forgot its name but it draws power from the slot it goes in

J2900 is LGA1170

Be better for you to buy a Intel 3rd gen pc for about the same price.

find a older i7 2600 OEM pc, try to find a rx460 or a used 750ti.

I'd still save a bit more for the 1060, whats the price diff?

or buy a used gpu

The reasl question is: Budget? Location? Why not buy used?

Pentium J = super low power CPU soldered onto the motherboard - ANY i3 or i5 will run circles around it - and i believe prebuilds with older i3's and i5's can be had for about the same price.

 

only recommended if super quiet and super low power consumption is a priority over compute power (media PC / surfbox / NAS)
