TV Problem

So I have Samsung LCD TV, idk how much old but it's from 200x year. Today it started to act weird. Display works but it has oversaturated / overbrightened colors. Let's say it's not how it should be and I can't adjust it with settings to the previous normal stage. Also I noticed that when I close the options menu I can kinda see it still in the screen but just a little bit (don't know how to explain it properly). I saw some videos on YouTube where people replace some T-con chip and that resolves their problems with the screen but I can't see anyone with the exact same problem like me. 

 

Do you think it's same problem with T-con chip or do I actually have display problem?
