Hy guys, i'm here for ask you some tips about a new mouse..

So i came from an Imperator that i've found so comfortable since now..but razer stil doesnt upgrade the old model so i dont know which one now i'm gonna choose..

I would like an ergonomic (right hand) mouse..not small but not too big..and with 8200 dpi..

my options for now are mionix naos 8200 (but i think that would be too big for fast movment of the hand)..maybe a roccato kone pure..dunno.. really need someone other's opinion..! :D

( my eng sucks giant balls :D )

Razer Deathadder 2013. By far, one of the most ergonomic mouses. Also, realistically, you'll only need 8200 dpi if you have triple monitors and you need to move your curser all across the screens in an instant.

yeah..could be a nice option..but i forgot to mention that i'll prefer a laser mice..and i also know that there is no effective difference between optical and laser..buut u know xD

Laser usually has acceleration no matter what which is why most top notch competitive gamers use optical.

Well there is actually.laser has innate mouse acceleration that cant be turned off. I personally cant stand it, but to each their own.

Just to throw ideas to you, I use a Zowie FK. I had to buy it on ebay. It wasnt that exepensive, cheaper than Deathadder 2013. I like it better than my Razer Naga. I would still go back to the Naga is I ever decided to go back to play MMOs. The Zowie is better for me because it is smaller. I don't have big hands.

There sure as shit is difference between the two. Optical is the superior sensor since it has no acceleration. It is extremely uncommon to find a laser mouse without acceleration and I have yet to find one personally. But let me tell you that mice are personal preference. You might like the deathadder or it might feel alien to you.

Two mice I recommend you try out are the Deathadder 2013 and the Logitech G400s. You can just return whichever one you do not like but you probably will like one or the other.

I own the Epic Gear Meduza HDST mouse.

It has an Optical and Laser sensor on the bottom. You can flip a switch and it will swap between the two, or you can use the hybrid HDST. Not sure what sorcery they employ to make them work together, but .. yeah.

It's a good mouse. Not great, but good. Was $50. I would say it is worth that price. The scroll wheel makes a weird and annoying screech-type noise if I scroll at a certain angle, but it's rare and only appeared after 3 months of use.

It has two macro buttons and software to set them to whatever. 5 profiles, LED color options, stuff like that.

My point is, this mouse doesn't have acceleration, but employs a laser sensor. I suppose it can do that because the laser sensor has to be used alongside the optical one. So one having acceleration, while the other doesn't, would mean that scrolling forward would make my cursor turn right. As the laser sensor is on the right side of the bottom of the mouse.

... It's interesting to say the least. I have no idea if there are actual benefits from it though. I have no experience with strictly laser or strictly optical mice, so I can't say if it is better. I only know it works and I have no issues aside from the scroll wheel thing.

And the mouse is like 5% too big for my hand. But that's an individual thing.

I suppose I could switch it to the laser or optical only mode, but... eh. I'm used to HDST.

So, basically you want a 8200dpi mouse just so you can say you have one? Well, I don't know why you're reducing yourself on these worthless numbers, bet hey who am I to judge. Anyways the Deathadder 2013 is one of the best, can't go wrong with that one.

If you're coming to your senses and just want a mouse, which actually has all the features you really need for your purposes you may want to get a G400/G500 or the Func MS3

I am still switching between my DA2013 and G400s. Both are great mice but I cant decide which I like the most.

First world problems.

I've had enough with Razer personally... I dont hate their products... But due to some recent multi-consecutive bad experiences I will likely never buy from them again, even if I suggest their products.

Two buttons on the side just isnt enough, ergonomics isnt really a big issue anymore with a semi decent gaming mouse(the rat 7 isnt a great example, i regret getting it). I find myself wishing i had more buttons. One if the best points on the rat 7 is the volume wheel.

If you like the shape of the Imperator then you will like the shape of the G400/G400s as both the Imperator and G400/G400s have pretty much the same shape only the G400/G400s are a bit bigger.

I cannot stand their stupid marketing. The whole "if you buy our products you will now be a professional gamer!" thing really gets on my nerves. However I cannot deny the quality in their products now. But I can definitely understand where you are coming from also not buying from them, I feel the same way about Asus and G-Skill RAM. I've bought from G-skill twice and both times DOA so I definitely am not buying them for a third time. And I don't buy from ASUS just because I think they overprice products that have no purpose in existing.

But it is quality for the price.... They have excellent keyboards and mice, but their headsets are horrendous. The Tiamat is likely the worst sounding headset I have heard in a long time. I know that the quality of their keyboards and mice is excellent, but bad experiences lead to bad views even with good products.

Well to be fair, ALL gaming headsets are garbage.

PTE has little to no accel but is plagued with other issues. Most(all?) mice with the sensor have some sort of accel in their firmware to stop the jitter. I have an old mamba with pre-jitter fix firmware. Tracks fine but the LOD issue is pretty bad.

I also recommend the DA2013 or the G400s. I own both, and I like both. The DA2013 has a bit of smoothing, but I can't notice any input lag from it(switching monitors produces more input lag). The DA2013 also causes my pinky to cramp up after a while because of the way I hold it. G400s cable is supposedly still iffy, and the scroll wheel is kind of mushy. G400s is more comfortable for me(about 20.5cm hand) to palm.

hey all, sorry for not replying but was busy with school and stuff..anyway i've read all the comments, thanks to everyone!..still in trouble for the choice..
but right now i can say that in the last period i've reduced my dpi settings to 5700..so..i'll probably avoid the choice of going for a 8200..now i'm still attracted from the naos..love the shape..but i'm thikin' a lot on the death adder...about the 400s i dont think im gonna buy that..maybe a g9x xD
for now i've decided to wait a bit more, lets see in the new year..ill be back soon i hope!

Deathadder 2013 is a great mice. It's decent weight , great ergonomics and decent price!

Logitech G100s & G400's are great as well .
The G100s is very light, but has no extra programmable buttons.
The G400s is quite hefty , but has a solid shape to hold the mouse with programmable buttons
