Freesync amd GPU questions

My rx580  is arriving soon and i have a http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29UM69G-B-ultrawide-monitor 

I am currently using a 1060 with an hdmi cable.

1-The monitor has a button on the bottom to acces monitor settings. In there theres an option for freesync. To enable freesync do I just need to set that to on.

2-Can I use freestnc with an hdmi cable on this monitor.

3-In games do I leave vsync on or off.

4-What drivers do I need for the rx580, send a link. 

5-On a seperate note what drivers do I need for the ryze  1600 pther than the chipset.

6-How can i remove the nvidia drivers i currently have.

7-Any other software I should install to give me the best experience. On the amd site theres lots of stuff to install like lfc.

8-What is displayport adaptive sync. Will i need it when i get freesync on.

use display port, HDMI should work.

up to you, free sync will help to eliminate screen tearing

look it up, go to the manufacturer website, get the latest driver

just have the latest drivers

your monitor supports 1.2

1. yes turn it on. then verify it's enabled in the amd radeon settings. also try the windmill demo 

2. not sure. i think recent scalers support freesync via HDMI. 

3. turn off vsync when you can. you can force freesync but sometimes not every game play nicely
