So recently I've noticed a lot of lag in games, longer loading of videos, and quick disconnections followed by re connection. I've restarted the router but now the usual problem is lag, I know its normal for lag but not this much so I checked my Wi-Fi under the task manager. I'm not sure what numbers I should be looking for, like the sending and receiving of Kbps. Should one be more than the other and if so, by how much?

Task manager is just showing your current speed. One being higher than another, etc doesn't matter. What's your advertised speed for your internet? What you do get when, say, running speedtest.net?

Try playing this video at 8k. In task manager, does it show you're at least occasionally reaching the speed speedtest.net gives you for your download speed?

Maybe restart computer as well? You could try changing the DNS settings and connect to Google's DNS server at 8.8.8.8 (8.8.4.4 for alt).

When restarting modem and router, keep it unplugged for maybe ~1 minute.
