When I record anything I often throw it into audacity to make it sound a bit better. I was just wondering if there is any program or anything that I could use to process my sound before it goes over voice chat or something like that.

You could use something like voice meter banana and use that to run it through Ableton Live or Adobe audition. Works pretty well for me.
