Hello

I purchased my ASUS vg248qe about 5 months ago. I had no issues with it until the last 2 months as I have slowly been getting more and more horizontal white lines across the screen. The first one was at the top of the screen but I now have three and one is right in the middle of the screen so it's starting to really annoy me even though its quite faint.

These lines only occur when running at 144HZ. Turning to 60Hz solves the issue but ruins the point of the monitor!O.o

Does anyone know of a fix? I see that this monitor is very popular so I hope I'm not the only one with the issue!

Thanks

try with another computer, if the problem persists then its the monitor that is at fault

if there is no problem with another computer, your GPU is dying and needs to be RMAed if you still have warranty

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

It's a common issue with this monitor, I have it as well. For me it's faintly near the bottom of the screen though,  it's there if you look for it but I don't notice it when I'm using my pc. I can't tell you what solves it (if anything) or what causes it. I learned to live with it. It's hit or miss with it; you have it or you don't (or to lesser extent).
