I posted this on new builds and planning by accident... whoops.

I just built my first rig and of course nothing works... Whenever I turn it on everything spins up like normal, but after like 10sec the graphic cards' fans stop turning then the rest of the build follows. After it dies it turns back on and repeats the process.

PARTS:

-intel core i5 with the stock cooler

-Geforce GTX 1050ti graphics card

-GIGABYTE h110m-a motherboard

-Western Digital 1TB hard drive

-16GB ddr4 ram

-EVGA 430w 80+ power supply

-Fractal Core 1000 chassis

Please tell me if you know whats going wrong... I am not sure if I plugged the small cables in correctly but I dont think thats why it keeps dying.

HALP PLEEZ!!!

Sincerely,

Guy Who Is A Noob At Computers

I'd check the CPU heat sink is properly secured and plugged into the right CPU fan slot in the MOBO like so http://www.phoronix.net/image.php?id=gigabyte-h110-linux&image=gigabyte_h110_5_med

Also reseating ram and GPU won't hurt it.

But if you adjusted the mini cables from the Case to the MOBO again and now it's worse then you probably didn't do it right.

I have had problems like this when the computer would finish its diagnostic report low power error and if bypassed it would start to boot when I heard the drive start to spin up the power light flashed off and it rebooted and it worked with a less powerful hard drive
