Harsh FPS drops, FiveM

I experience very regular and extreme FPS drops in FiveM. I can play Online at 30fps capped, 45 fps uncapped but sometimes dips into the high 30s. Is there a reason for this? My specs are in my sig.

Is your game install on a hard drive? I moved gta to ssd and seem to fix my random fps drops.

Yes, on an HDD. I am planning on getting an SSD for my next birthday. I currently do not have a job due to juvenile working laws, as I am only 15 and cannot get a working license until 16. My HDD is in good shape though, and as of right now only has about give or take 10% usage. Plus it is a 1TB, and only has 500GB on it.

Does the fps lag when you race through the city or happens every few seconds?

Every few seconds. No real pattern to it. Does it all the time. Only on FiveM though. Online doesn't drop hard, and SP I can play at 60FPS. FiveM for me is just highly unstable. It also always crashes.

I had similar problem with you, i used to run GTA 5 off my NAS, and i had no major problems but after since playing alot on fivem i had experience this problems. It most likely the fact fivem is not coded too well and tested on many range of machines. Try turning down the draw distance and see if that helps.
