Hey all,

I just got an old-ish Syber C series M-itx case. It is very small, and I mean really small. I can't find official specs so I'm really guessing, just putting that out there. Clearance from the bottom of the motherboard tray to the top of the case is just under 8 centimeters. I am going to estimate 6.5 to 7 cm for a CPU cooler. I want to plan a sleeper system with a 6700k/7700k or non k versions depending... does anyone have some really good low profile coolers in mind? I've looked for comparisons but nothing is very conclusive or helpful.

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Can you access the back side of the cpu socket in that case?  I got the inwin chopin a few months ago, and the only way to access the back of the motherboard is to take it out of the case.  This wouldn't be as big of a hassle if it wasn't for the fact that Noctua wimped out on the L9i, and made it so that the only way to remove it is to get to the back of the motherboard.  Great cooler, but really stupid design choice on their part.

There is not a CPU cut out. But that's not a huge problem for me.
