Does Windows 10 Support SMR?

I purchased an 8TB Seagate Archive drive - realizing afterward that it is SMR - so I canceled to check - Is windows10 compatible with SMR?

Okay. I read on an article a while ago that older Windows versions weren't compatible - and wanted to make sure.
