Psu cable doesn't fit?

Go to solution Solved by kerradeph,

Yeah, you're just looking for a NEMA C13 plug which is what plugs into the PSU and whatever standard is used in Hong Kong.

So I was doing an itx build with the seasonic m12ii 520w psu and everything was going surprisingly well until I realized the cable from the psu to the wall doesn't fit locally... it came with a 2 flat 1 round male, but all I had was 3 flat female (Hong kong)...

So that left me with 2 options: buy a 3rd party cable or just cut and solder on a new male head that fits. I heard 3rd party cables aren't very good for the psu health, but then tbh a hand soldered cable isn't exactly stable anyway. So what should I do? Thx

buy a third party i don't think it will really affect anything they are pretty standard. (unless the ground isn't really connected and is there only for show)
