Frist off, i'm desperate as crap, so don't ask stupid questions about if i've plugged the cable into the GPU/VGA port. OF COURSE I AM. EVERY IDIOTS KNOW THAT. In Vietnam, we have 2 weeks to play during the summer before the school starts. So i need this to be quick lol

- My rigs: i5 4460 - 8GB DDR3 - VS550 PSU - 9600GT - 4 fans - B85M Gamer from Asus

- Things that happens: Without the discrete GPU, it works. When I plugged in the 9600GT(it works), the fans spin, LED is on, everythings works but no signal to the monitor. Just 2 week ago, i still have my HD7950 working with the machine before i sell it. I ripped the whole system apart and put it back again, with the 9600GT, no signal. Does not work woth the GTX780(it works with another machine) either

- What I did: Reset the BIOS by pulling out the CMOS battery for a few minutes

I repositioned the card a few times for it to sit in the pci slot. Reinstall Window

- NOTE that my stupid mobo doesn't include speaker so no beep

- Love the community. Please help or I'm doomed

Did you plug the correct 8 and 6 pin connectors into your GPU? Not the EPS/CPU 8 pin?

Heyman, thanks for replying. 9600GT does not need neither 8-pin or 6-pin connector. It runs on 24-pin power

Do the onboard graphics still work when then GPU is connected?

You say you've reset bios, but have you set it to PCIe being the primary output, or whatever similar setting your bios may have?

Hey. I tried to do so but does not work. And when I got into Windows. It does not recognize the discrete GPU and there is only the onboard GPU.

Little update here: When i plugged the hdmi cable in the 9600GT, everythings show up but with a weird screen ratio and it's not recognized in Device Manager nor nVidia driver
