hello i just want to start off by saying its going to be hard to explain my problem but i will try my best, so i bought this pc off of Walmart Cyperpower build your own pc shop at first i just played Minecraft on it for the first 3-5 months (don't judge) and then i got into steam games i played gmod for 2 months and during that time at random times my pc would crash but it isn't a blue screen  (going to be hard to explain) the screen turns into a color that is on the screen most so say i was on Youtube home page it would turn white and so on and also replays a sound that was last played over and over again, its like if you played csgo and tabbed out thats the sound. But that was like 5 months ago so then after gmod i played gta5 and i think the crash thing happened only once and now i play csgo the most and not going to lie i cheat in the game but my pc crashes after like 3-4 hours of me playing csgo and i thought it was the cheat but its isnt cus i now use a new one but even if i am not cheating in csgo my pc does that crash thing on csgo. I think its my pc over heating but my temps say under 50 °C and i got 3 computer fans and i also have 2 fans blowing into it. someone told me to replace the thermal paste on the cpu so i am going to do that but if there is anything else i can do to fix it Please msg me or reply to me

Bit weird specs for the purpose of gaming, but alright, that is obviously not the problem.

You already ruled out a heating problem. Though I would like to know the exact model and brand PSU (powersupply) you have. 600watt doesn't say anything sadly.

Also keep in mind, even though it doesn't show a blue screen, it still might have blue screened. If the Windows error is GPU related, it just simply can't show you. Especially when it is severe that it needs to restart the entire OS for you.

Try checking your crashlogs. This article right here might help you finding them: https://www.digitalmastersmag.com/magazine/tip-of-the-day-how-to-find-crash-logs-on-windows-10/

If possible share them here if there are any.

Nothing significant from those Errors. KERNEL_DATA error could be pointing to your ram having trouble keeping the data on it in one piece. Try swapping out ram modules and even putting them in different slots to rule them out. Memtest86 is a good way to test them for stability.

If that isn't working, then consider backing up all your important files (or make a windows recovery image with the build-in tools from windows, but still make a backup of important files, because windows just isnt the most reliable thing in the world) and do a fresh install of your OS. If that doesn't do the trick we can rule out OS problems. And if you made an backup image, you can simply put that back in place.

Welp, never heard of that before, but I can't say if that's true or not. As far I am aware, that is your motherboards job mainly. A wonky PSU mostly just acts out on stability in general. Making the possibility of random crashes bigger.

Searching your PSU, its definitely NOT a reputable brand. And going from their spec sheet. You only get the 80 Plus rating (suprised it even has one) if you only load it with 50%. A GTX 970 pulls roughly 160watts on load. Your whole PC probably about 450 on a good load. The efficiency gets worse if you are on a 110volt grid instead of a 220/230.

Besides your issues, I would recommend to ditch this PSU as soon as you can. It doesn't even deliver a true 12volt, they even show it on their spec sheet. (12 volt is essential for good and stable GPU performance)

do you have any good power supply that wouldn't have to replace for a long time that is under 100$?

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 ~$100 https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0750-XR/dp/B00IKDETOW/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499224808&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=EVGA+220-GS-0650-V2 (Is on sale right now) It's definitely a slight overkill, but that never hurt anyone.

Any EVGA, Corsair or other good known brand of 600 Watt or more with a 80 Plus Gold rating or better should do the trick for you. The EVGA I picked for you was my first hit on amazon.com that met the requirements and is definitely a good PSU. Its also on sale like I already mentioned so it's good worth the money. Comes with a 10 year warranty, so that is definitely a good reason to pick it up.
