IX Formula

Im planning on getting the IX Formula, for my 7700k, im not going to costum watercool, and i honestly dont care about it being more expensive than the code, but will i have some kind of disadvantage if i dont use the Waterblock that comes with it? Since it has it installed or am i switching things up? Or does it come like extra so you can install it? Dont want to buy it and realize i cant mount the Kraken x62 on it or if its gives me disadvantage, like more heat because of something being in there that isnt used.

 

Or will i be fine?

The VRM wont be as cool compared to using it on water, but that doesn't mean it will run hotter than other air only designs. Its optional.

I don't see any reasons why AIO water coolers wouldn't fit.

Alright, so if i dont use the Pump, itll run the same temps as the other ix boards?

I did check tons of videos and read alot, but my head makes me need confirmation from people that know whats going on, to be 100% sure.
