So I literally just broke my k70 (red switches) - spilt coffee all over it. I've got it broken down and drying out but I'm not holding out any hope.

So I figure I might as well use this as an opportunity to pick up a fresh keyboard. Unfortunately due to work being all types of hectic and moving apartments several times over the last few months I've not kept up with the latest developments or reviews in general.

What I really need is your knowledge; I'd like a board with macro keys, mechanical (but also a lot quieter this time) and numpad. Honestly RGB is not something I care about, function over form for me.

I'll be in work for the rest of the day but any help would be greatly appreciated (and apologies if I'm slow getting back to you!).

Thanks in advance

I'd reccommed looking at Ducky Shine keyboards, extremely well built keyboards I've had mine for 4 years and still going strong. Ducky keyboards do have the ability to set up macros and have num pads and also there is RGB options.

I'd also recommend the Ducky Shine keyboards, but they don't have dedicated macro keys (At least if you mean the ones like the K70 off the side).

I bought a Ducky Shine 6 Snow White Edition keyboard last year and I love it. It's plastic, but it's super durable feeling. I'm not sure on switch type though, I have the silvers (Yes, even if I don't game, I like how they feel for typing...I'm weird, I know), and they aren't completely quiet, but definitely not as loud as my cousin's K70 (he has brown switches). I don't know if anyone other than corsair uses those Cherry Silent switches.

I do think if you alcohol soak your K70 though, it should come back to life for you.

Hi Scotty...can you please provide a pricepoint for the keyboard you are seeking??

Don't forget to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we aren't going to receive your answers...
