I just do not know what a DNS is. I think I my PC is very secure.. daily scans with Avira free and Hitman Pro, firewall is on I barely use Chrome or download things.

when i am done with schooling you, you will not be making this claim. you will be wearing a tinfoil hat. the best security tool is not software but the organic mass that sits between the keyboard and the monitor. Not downloading things is a very good practice and it will save you from a good amount of shittiness, but just surfing the net means you are downloading things every time you click something in the web browser. My strategy is to sandbox and audit. Anti-virus does the audit but not as good as you can do yourself with the right tools.
