Display suggestions

Akadis

Hej there,

currently i have a Dell U2515H and i really want a secound monitor (productivity, ...)

What I was thinking on getting:

  • a curved one with XXXx1440p (same height) as my main display
  • 4K Monitor (same size)
  • the same again

I am not really sure what would be the best solution as well as what price i need to calculate.

What it should have:

  • thin bezel
  • at least 1440p
  • good colors (photoshop, ...)

Any thoughts on what i should get?

What price should I consider (<500, >500, ~4000, ...)?

Maybe a monitor which would suit me?

Thanks

well looks kinda the same as my dell. whats the difference?

It's a bit more expensive but has built in speakers, 1 ms lower response time and thinner bezzels.

well i have a 5.1 hooked up to my pc and responsetime won't matter for me

for the bezzels i think the same model would look much better than thinner bezzels right?

It's your choice you could also go for a second Dell monitor but this was just a suggestion.

you mentioned photoshop so I guess you are depending on straight lines which can be a problem for designers or creators that have to have straight lines for some reasons. i know people who have trouble with curved monitors for that reason. Allthough I don't ...

I had that setup for quite a while and it didn't work for me. (the smaller flat one was on the right turned by 90°). but I guess it comes down to personal preference
