Raid USB Drives

How would one go about stripping together 3 usb drives on a windows 10 machine? I have 3 spare 32 gb usb drives and a four port usb hub and I figure I can raid 0 them for storage.

It should certainly be doable by setting up dynamic disks in Disk Management, but it's a horrible idea. There are so many considerations...

 

Thumb drives aren't very reliable

Windows Software RAID isn't very reliable

External drives are easy to accidentally disconnect, destroying the RAID.

 

Still. If you want to give it a shot, I found this article for Windows 7 (but it should still apply to 8 / 10)

Not really putting any critical files on it just maybe Mechanic simulator because it takes fucking forever to load or even just garrys mod

Oh, Steam library drive? go nuts :P.

 

Just make sure your USB controller can handle all the drives at once, otherwise the load times could potentially be horrible.
