Charging a new phone

So I bought a OnePlus 5 recently and like any new phone I want it to have a good battery life along the years. How should I charge it? Is it okay if I leave it on for the whole night, or should I unplug it when its done? And what percentage is healthy for the battery to discharge before charging it again? 

I hope someone could give me some tips :) Thank you

I don't have a OnePlus 5 but with my LG G5 I just charge it when ever it gets below 20% or at the end of the day (and just unplug it in the morning). It hasn't seem to lower the life of the battery yet

Modern Li-po/Li-ion batteries in phones are pretty smart, they can take care of themselfes unless you keep it plugged in 24/7. Charge and discharge as convinience allows.
