Hello,so i changed my windows 10 biot logo to a custom picture with a tutorial made by benstechtips. So i did everything exactly like him, sign the bootres file and replace the original file in boot>resources. And now when i boot theres just a loading bar without the custom picture?

According to the forum post that you referenced on benstechtips.com

Oh no, my boot logo has completely disappeared! What do I do?

Don't worry - this isn't uncommon. It's simply because you changed a Windows file to a version that it does no longer recognise as original. You have to turn test signing on.

1) Go to Command Prompt (as Administrator).

2) Type the following command:

bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

3) Now attempt to reboot again!

However, I don't recommend turning test mode on. Not only could it potentially make your system less stable / secure, you'll have a "Test Mode" watermark on your desktop.

EDIT:

According to this post further down the topic, once you reboot into test mode, Repeat the same steps, but change the command to...

bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

This will turn test mode off and should preserve the new logo.

It's possible. I was doing some more research. Are you running a UEFI or legacy install of Windows.

Yes, it was replaced by Powershell in the latest Windows build update. just hit start > type CMD > then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter

It's legacy. Gigabyte mobo but i want that asus rog look. Can u send me some asus rog pics that will be compatible? Also how do i run cmd inside of folder?

Okay, so Legacy is good in this case. It means that you should be able to change the boot image. Things get a little weird with UEFI because the boot image could be stored in your motherboard's firmware.

The guide on the forum post that you followed (I linked it earlier. I think it's the right one) has instructions on scaling an image. I don't want to provide a logo that I don't own the rights to.

It shouldn't matter where you run CMD from. If you want to go to another folder, just CD to it.
