Hi, im trying to separate network into 2-3 individual networks. reason being that they can see my devices when im connected to the router.

I own 2 routers one is for me and other is for family, got 2 because i thought having two different ssids will mean that they will not be able to connect to my devices such as chromecast, file server, mediaserver, and such.

and been looking around and people say to create vlans but i don't know to to set it up. personal router is a linksys wrt3200acm.

Attached an image to show what im trying to do. maybe it can show you guys what im talking about

trying to make my devices use ip 192.168.1.*

and for my family 192.168.2.*

They will still be able to see them.

anyway to hide them. like only show devices that is connected to one network and same goes for the one.

currently even tho my phone is connected to (ssid1) it can see and control the chromecast that is connected to (ssid2). and i down want that cause my brother always mess with what i am watching.

The ideal solution is using a single router and 2 switches. You can then setup the router similar to a "one way valve" so no data can go from network one through the router and to network 2 and it would be terminated. In your router settings both networks would have the same gateway. Your router may already be able to do this or you could look into a more buisnes grade router such as the Cisco 1921 or the Cisco 3725.
