Hi there. Im hoping for some help here, since all results on google are either too olod to fix this and dont work anymore, or are just unsolved.

Whenever i try to download TC:TD , uplay fatal crashes itself. In offline mode it runs okay, but as soon i switch to online and start downloading, it crashes.

Reinstalled it countless times. Went over system with CCleaner, still no luck.

Anyone had similar problems with any luck?

Usually all the problems with Ubi come and go within matters of a pc resrart or something like that, but this one is too stubborn to go away.

Can't really help you, but I would try this if I had this problem and nothing else wouldn't work:

1. Uninstall Uplay

2. Go to Program Files (x86) and delete the Ubisoft folder

3. Go to appdata --> Local --> and delete the Ubisoft Game Launcer folder

4. Install Uplay

Tried it, still no luck. As soon a download starts, instant crash.

Uplay is a steaming pile of poorly designed software and the client crashing is extremely common. Of course Ubisoft doesn't care about this and they will not care about producing any games that aren't a cashgrab either.

All this hate towards Uplay and ubisoft. I've never crashed Uplay, I've never experienced problems with uplay and the only time I've had problems with a game that is from Ubisoft is with Rainbow Six Siege and I cannot connect to my friends in it. Do people really have that much problems with uplay, or is the hate just because it's ubisoft. Like the hate towards trump. Everybody does it, so people follow.

If you installed Uplay via a game installer, it will have a lot of issues. I became familiar with this based on how Driver San Francisco acts under Steam if Uplay isn't installed beforehand. Do a fresh install of the latest version of Uplay and see if that does anything.

I've reinstalled it like 10 times or more. A fresh install form a download form ubis web. It all worked honky-dory until one day it just s*** itself and refused to work. Only game i can play from ubi is The Crew, as it launches trough Steam, but only when i launch it for the first time when pc is freshly booted. If I play it and then decide to launch it again, crash happens.

Not sure what's happening then.
