Any suggestions for ryzen 7 memory

looking for a 16gb (8x2)

Faster ram is better for Ryzen, try for over 3000MHz if you can. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

I would suggest the cheapest 2x8 3000mhz kit you can find. Most Ryzen systems can get their Ram around 3000 now but most can't hit 3200 so don't bother paying extra for it.

3200 Mhz RAM with CL 14 timing will work best with Ryzen, though RAM featuring these specs can be expensive.

 

3200 with CL15/16 will work pretty well, but being able to run it at full rated speeds may or may not be possible.

 

The latest AGESA update has improved the situation a lot though, so CL15/16 RAM may work perfectly fine nowadays.

This guy explains the technical requirements, and yeah the best selling Corsair Vengeance RAM in viewers choice episode 3 can be what are you looking for

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas
