My question is quite simple this time. Are "donor" iphones really worth it? Like the ones those "don't turn on" or have "blocked by ID"/Find my Iphone feature turned on with no possibility to turn it off since the phone itself is dead. So let's say I buy one of those in order to repair another ligitimate Iphone and maybe have some spare parts left. What parts are "usable" in this situation? I mean, if I change a motherboard in the legitimate Iphone with one from a bricked one, is it going to be possible for the owner of the "brick" to then block my new freshly repaired phone through the Find my Iphone thing?

That's about it, thanks in advance and sorry if this topic is somewhat controversial. I'm no shady reseller trying to fool other people, but I will take advantage of cheaper parts if possible as any other reasonable human being would.

I guess this means that buying those already blocked is a bad idea. But what about just "dead" ones with Find my Iphone feature still on? If I mix parts in the phone that's being repaired, does it mean that it will have both IMEI's attached to it? Or is there some "dominant" component?

If an iPhone is iCloud locked, you could probs still salvage the screen, cameras, battery, etc. Keep in mind that if you don't use the original Touch ID cable on an iPhone 5s, 6,6S, or 7, it won't work. The home button will still work, but all Touch ID functionality will be gone.
