Do I need windows key?

I recently upgraded to windows 10 through the 'assistive technologies' free upgrade (Don't have assistive technologies but I used it anyways cause well, it's free, cheating or not). I'm gonna upgrade my pc soon, and it'll have a 1tb neutron xti ssd on it. Can I just put the usb in, use the media tool and install onto ssd without a product key, or does that require one?

 

If it requires a key, then how would I go about doing it using a usb?

U don't need a key to activate any version of Windows from above Vista (not sure about some editons of XP,but some editons do accept u not putting in a key) So u don't need a key for the initial Install,but do need it after 30 days (there is a way to reset that counter like 2-3 times to make the evaluation longer,but forgot how to do it  )

Even if you need a key you can buy one for about £20 on ebay, I used a windows 10 pro key for nearly a year and had no issues, but then I realised how awful windows is.
