Vega delayed by slow and problematic production of HBM2?

Here is 1 source that backs up the reddit: http://wccftech.com/sk-hynix-lists-hbm2-gddr6-amds-vega-nvidias-volta-latest-memory-databook/
The major downside with HBM is you've now integrated a ton more things together and the entire package has to work. With regular memory, you can test the PCB first for connection issues, the memory chips by themselves, and if any one of those components has a problem, you can replace them. With HBM, it may be a one-shot deal. If the interposer or any of the HBM stacks fail, the entire package has to be thrown away.
