Random Chemistry question

so i am currently in post highschool level chemistry and something has confused me to the extreme, why does chloroethene have a lower boiling point than PVC, i have a feeling this is simple but i cant physically think of why? any chemnerds here??

I'm not particularly sure but I think it has something to with with PVC being a polymer chain and more chlorine atoms linked together form a stronger dipole-dipole interaction which is stronger than Van der Waals interaction among non-polar molecules. Chlorothene is just a single molecule so it will evaporate faster than PVC.
