Is the power supply I have on my list good enough or should I get a better one for future upgrades? And I heard some people say they have issues with the power button on the corsair 750D. Is there anyway to make sure the I connect the power button to my motherboard the right way? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2R8mzM

Don't know about the 750D's power button but that PSU is fine for a 1080 Ti.

Couple questions: Why do you need the optical drive? If it's to install Windows then you can do that with a flash drive.

Why a 750D for a single GPU system? A smaller case would make a heck of a lot more sense, and one that doesn't cost so much. I see no reason to not get something like a Define S or NZXT S340.

No need to get aftermarket thermal paste as your CPU cooler comes with one. That CPU cooler is also not great and you can do better at the price point you're at.

Hard drives should be swapped as those are slow 5400 RPM drives. Also, what the heck do you need 64GB of RAM for? I re-did your parts list below.

To answer your question about the optical drive I will be using it burn and rip movies and do some video editing. And I picked the 750D because I will be installing the optical drive. The NZXT doesn't have a optical drive front panel. Before you showed me this list I had already made some changes. I have the cryorig R1 for the CPU cooler. Is SK Hynix and hitachi the best things to add to my storage part of the list? I thought western digital black was the best choice?

Gotcha, but I'd still get a USB solution for that since that eliminates the need for a front ODD bay which ruins the look of the Obsidian IMO.

I'd get that R1, sure.

The sk Hynix is a good SSD. If you want to save a few bucks then it's absolutely a good choice. The hard drives I chose were just cheaper and 3TB rather than the 4TB, slow WD Reds you had in there before. Do you need that much storage, even for video editing? I obviously don't know, it's up to you, but I'd start with the 6TB of storage and just buy another hard drive if you end up needing more. And yes, the WD Black is one of the best HDDs you can buy.

Your talking about the USB for Windows 10 right or are you talking about something else? Here is the link to the changes I made in my list.

That build looks great, I just have to wonder why you need so much storage?

That and the case, again, is really big. A Fractal Define R5 or Cooler Master Mastercase Pro 5 would suit you fine. That said, if you must have an Obsidian case there is the 450D.

I pick that case in case I want to make future upgrades. And all that storage will be for videos and some light work I will do on the side.
