So I have 2 1TB 2012 WD Blue drives for mass storage/games drive with a 250gb ssd boot drive. I'd like to get a single unified drive with more storage and retire the blues. Maybe reuse them as system backups just in case.

Unsure which drive to get, any suggestions? Looking for something in the 3-4TB range that isn't 200 dollars with decent performance and reliability.

Checking out userbenchmark and one of the best price to performance drive is apparently a 3TB Seagate Barracuda from 2016. Stats seem alright, but 4k specs isn't as good as a WD Black. Unsure if that will have a dramatic enough impact to notice or not.

If any one has experience with this drive, lemme know. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178994
