Need Help, for new GPU

hi guys, need help with this crazy prize Gpus

 

soo,  i got 66ook with old gtx 690 and 6900k with gtx 970

 

i need more gpu power but too bad currently i live in Seoul SK,

 

in this ugly picture you will see that crazy price,

some items with extra price it means comin from other country soo it takes 3 weeks till 1 month

 

any ideas which card should i get for my both rigs?

hard to sell card here, best i'll get 200.000won for my gtx690 and 180.000won for my gtx970

I don't know how you're doing in terms of budget. That said, if you have a reasonable budget, I'd say go with the Zotac 1080Ti (the dual-fan one) because it's a good value model. That's for your 6900k system. I wouldn't recommend a GTX 1080 for your 6600k system, because there could be bottlenecking in some games (that is, if your main purpose for both builds is gaming, which I assume it is). Instead, I'd say get an RX 580 and be happy about it, what with the ever more consistent performance, the prospect of Vulkan and DX12 taking over in the near future, and the 8gb of VRAM. No need to go with two monster systems; but then again, you didn't mention exactly how much GPU power you need and what each system's individual purposes are.

It seems that your option are down to used stuff then. Maybe a 980ti for each system. All these new cards cost about 200usd more than in US. Overpriced by a LOT

10000 won (south korean currency) = 8.78usd. So the 1080ti cost about 900usd there.....

I don't know how the South Korean market for used parts looks like, but that seems like the best option indeed. I kinda thought about it from the options that he provided in those screenshots. But a used 980Ti would be a sweet purchase.

No need for an excellent GPU if all you're doing is video rendering, especially if you're on a budget. The GTX 970 will do fine. 

And yes, the 6600k *can* bottleneck the GTX 1080 in some games. Overclocking can mitigate the problem, but it suffices to say that you need to buy the right graphics card for your CPU. You've got to be down-to-earth about it.

Which leads me to my next point: a GTX Titan Z is far from being an appropriate card for you - or anyone. Power-hungry as hell, hot as hell, and expensive as all hell. Unnecessary purchase, and would set you back about 700.000won. My guess is that you don't want any of that.

If 500.000won is still too much for your budget, go with the RX580. New architecture, pretty capable card, and comes with 8gb of VRAM. Anything less than that, and it'd be GTX970/690 territory, in which case I'd say stick to your original cards. 

 

P.S.: Oh, another problem is that, at least if you wanna buy from the US or Canada, you may have problems with availability right now.

2 970s are better than 690 in games and rendering. Which one for games and which for rendering depends on which work you value more.
