Recently, I was having trouble with my graphics card being recognized on windows, but when I tried to reinstall the driver, Windows started a crash loop that caused the pc to crash whenever I logged in. I fixed this, but I still have problems with updating drivers.

You're in luck then. Windows 7 is fairly repairable (especially compared to win 10. Bleh) so open a CMD window as administrator, and type "chkdsk /r". Then it'll tell you it couldn't lock the drive and will offer to run on reboot. Say yes, then shutdown and start up the machine again. When that's done, see if it fixed the problem. If not, I've got some more suggestions too.

computer specs?

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?

1050, new driver, 382.53, 382.33, to see if it would help with problems i was having

Have you tried uninstalling all drivers with DDU, removing card from device manager and rebooting? Windows should by that time recognize card again and you can then install drivers.

to access device manager: open an explorer window, right click the my computer icon and select manage.
you will then get a window with a couple of tools (task scheduler, event viewer etc)
select device manager. your graphic cards is listed under "display adapters"
any yellow exclamation marks means there is an issue with the device (failed to start, missing driver etc)

can you post a screenshot of your device manager with display adapters opened?
(easy screenshot on win 7: press the prtscr/print screen button, open ms paint, paste the screenshot (do any cropping around the window if you want) and save it))

yes, that shows that the card is detected and installed..
go to the desktop, right click, select display settings and scroll down and select "Display adapter properties" and take a screenshot

hmm.. that is all correct, your card should be working fine in windows, so the issue is probably something with davinci resolve or elsewhere.. you can run a 3dmark or known benchmarking game to see if you get about the same score/fps as others get when benchmarking a 1050, if you do it's most likely a software issue.
