Hi everyone,

 

I'm new here so I wanted to introduce myself.

 

I'm a pharmacist, living and working in Brussels, Belgium.

 

Getting married next year so for every IT project I want to make, I need to take in account the Wife Acceptance Factor

 

For my IT Interests, it's networking, servers and computers in general, I do a bit of gaming but no time for online gaming so I stick usually to single player titles like the Thief series, Dead Island, some L4D2.

 

I am responsible of my workplace's IT and I have at home a NAS, a Windows 10 pc for remote desktop connection and a small virtualization lab (I've had the hardware for a while but at the moment no time to play with it), everything is homemade and hosted in a 19 inch rack. I'll give more details if someone is interested.

 

I wanted to subscribe to this forum because you guys don't seem tied with any fanboyism of any kind, I also really like watching Linus's videos and I like to share some good and bad IT experiences (what I can't do with people surrounding me because they don't understand a thing to computers at all).

Welcome to the forums! There is a bit of fanboyism here, but it's pretty minor compared to other forums.

Lets just say that your in the right place, you will see some minor fanboying but this probably is the best place to be on the internet for pc advice, 99% of the time your likely to get a good answer

One of the things I appreciate here is that when somebody asks a question, and it's obvious they are clueless, people don't try to humiliate them like on a lot of tech forum I visit.
