So here is the build, ignore the price it shows on Pc part picker, it will coost me aprox 2080$ for the build. Here it is: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/TheMidnightNarwhal/saved/2Vaz

Before you post, I have a question relating the MOBO choice. I know I could get the Msi G45 gaming but is it a good board? Is it made of great quality? I see people who say to avoid Msi and say ASUS is top of the top. So I don't know if I should go for Hero or g45 gaming.

May I suggest throwing away the wireless card and grabbing a ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA motherboard?

-wireless ac is more future proof

-less lag if you have an ac router to go with it

-built into the board

instead of a BenQ GW2450HM, grab a BenQ RL2455HM? I think there both tn panels, but the RL is faster but slightly more pricey

I don't think the vengeance pro memory kit is worth it

save money and get a regular vengeance kit?

(there 20$ cheaper on amazon usa) not sure if there cheaper in amazon.ca

You don't need a black 1tb drive if its going to be your secondary storage, get a green 2tb?

although I understand if you like the warranty on it

grab an EVGA nex 750g instead of the corsair TX750M?

-full modular instead of of semi modular

-80+ gold instead of 80+ Bronze

-cables look far better (I know because my friend owns a TX series and I own a NEX 650G)

-Same price on amazon usa

Get a corsair m40 to match your keyboard?

-friend has m40 and k70 and i'm totally jelly, looks badass

Be aware that nzxt lighting is a little annoying to set up(I owned a kit)

-bitfenix might offer something better

These are only suggestions, I'm pretty bad with Canadian pricing

Looks good, but I do have a couple of suggestions. A 650W psu is more than sufficient for the build. Not sure why the SP fans were included in the build, there doesn't seem to be a need for them. Changed the memory part to something as good, but less expensive. Same with the HDD. I kept the WiFi adapter, but there are less expensive boards that will do an equally good job.

Having a formula IV would cost me 60$ more even if I remove the wireless adapter.

The Monitor I chose is MVA instead of TN.

Vengeance Pro or regular are same price from where I buy it (Canada Computers)

My HDD is not really a secondary storage since I only have a 120gb SSD. I mean I can't store much on that? Thats why I was planning to get a beefy strong HDD.

For the EVGA, I saw techpower up's review and not satisfied about their PSUs :\

I already have a steelseries sensei, or I would totally get a corsair mouse ha ha. In fact, it's probably gonna be my second mouse.

Didn't like much bitfenix's, since they cost like 10$ more for less. And I have a 8th PCI slot in my case that wouldn't interfere with my MOBO.

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. I might get g.skill memory, it's only 80$, you made me remeber that g.skill was out there lol :P

Yeah, I like g.skill, might get that instead.

For the HDD, my friend had alot of seagate barracudas fail so I really don't trust seagate.

The PSU was one of the consideration, and I think I will get it instead.

For the fans, well I just wanted to change them from the stock ones that came with the h100i.

Don't blame you for staying away from Barracudas if you know of bad experiences. For me it's been failing WD Green & Black.

From everything I've read the H100i stock fans do a pretty good job. But if you want quieter performance, ugly as they are the Noctua NF-F12 PWM would be a better choice. If you want to stick with the SP 120 Quiet Edition fans, you'll likely want the PWM version, CO-9050011-WW.

Yeah the main reason I go for Corsair's SP is the aesthetics :3  . And don't worry, I will be getting the 4 pin ones, didn't know they had 3 pins lol, so just click the first dual pack of fans I saw  :P

What's the system being used for?

It's a lot more expensive than it needs to be...

Should be a nice build. Have fun.

By the way, WoodenMarker will likely be along any minute to tell you that it is more expensive than it needs to be. If you want to consider an AMD build he will be sure to give you one.

For gaming, I'd probably just go with a Hyper 212 Evo though with some red fans on it.

I never saw that review, but would it change your mind if I told you the EVGA power supply had a 10 year warranty? corsair has 5

I guarantee it would be more quiet than the c70's stock fans

I feel that it will increase the aesthetic by ALOT, those corsair cables do look look....eh..not too good considering my friend sold his for a 860i due to aesthetics (he has a c70 arctic theme build)

Picture this image but with yellow/colorful cables with a cheap semi-transparent black braid going to my gpu

(yeah i'm a nazi on aesthetics)

(note that my 650D has no smoke or mesh to cover up anything) (c70 has a smoke window with mesh so you can hide stuff)

Seems good but I don't trust Asrock. The RAM is cheap but it's no available from where I'm buying it, sadly. Like I said above, I don't trust Seagate. For the SSD, I suppose It will be which one is in stock at the moment I buy them, since they are both similarly priced. Video card, I'm gonna match it with the MOBO company. The fans, well I like more corsair's since they are prettier :3 . The power supply, I like the suggestion because I am trying to find a red power supply that is good so there is one. And LG, it'l be like the SSD, which one is in stock will be the one I get.

Thanks for your suggestions  :)  I really like the PSU.

Nothing wrong with Asrock or Seagate. Asrock came from Asus.. Seagate and WD are equally reliable and many of their hdds probably come from the same factories.

Where are you buying stuff then?

10 years warranty, thats crazy. I would really go for it if WoodenMarker wouldn't showed me the Antec PSU. :3

But the C70 doesn't has a smoked window? It's clear window no? With fans holes.

Yeah, even though Asrock comes from ASUS I still don't trust them he he. A google search shows more cons than pros about Asrock. Like I said, my friend had failed seagates and non WD so thats the only reason why I'm going with WD. I'm buying from Canada Computers, probably in-store instead of online.

HD drives to do fail it is pretty much luck on which one dies first. Not really dependent on the brand. My cousin had seagate fail on him more often, but i had more WD die one me. The brand doesn't really have anything to do on their reliability if your buying from good manufactures.

nope it's smoked Window, like I said my friend did an arcitic build with the c70

He painted his z77 Sabertooth white and you can barely see it through the smoked window

The only thing thing i was able to see through the window that really stood out (in person) was the h100i light and the gpu logo w/the power cables (which were colorful until the 860i)

It's not much of a flashy case, I think corsair should sell a version of the side panel without smoke or mesh separately

(In fact, I might post a thread about that soon)
