Enough watt?

Go to solution Solved by MoYo,

i did a bit of research the 7850 130w max so yeah it should be fine :3

non reference cards sometimes have a higher tdp than reference cards http://www.alternate.be/SAPPHIRE/SAPPHIRE+HD_7850_OC_(11200-06-20G)/html/product/1013108/?tk=7&lk=6038 but yeah it doesn't really matter, it is only 20w :P

Hey guys,

Would a Corsair CX430 be enough for a Radeon 7790 or 7850? The rest of the rig is:

- An old i7 970 (i think) Codename: Lynfield

- 1 tb HDD

- 6gb Ram

- 2 fans

- Basic Mobo

Btw, How much watt is left with this rig (without the GPU, so we can search on the amount of max watt)

Thanks!

yeah you should get a 2gb card! alternate is ok, but there are cheaper shops in the netherlands and pricing in germany is much better, I only buy there because I can go to their store by bike haha :P
