I have not gotten a virus on any of my computers in so long, but I have noticed two odd behaviors. First, I was getting ads in chrome on the new page tab and in searches, although this was easily removed by resetting chrome settings. However, I also noticed that whenever I am in control panel or windows settings, the page will continue to scroll up by itself. any suggestions? I am getting pretty nervous over this right now.

Advertisement are typically malware messing with your DNS settings. I can't explain the scrolling.

Here I found a blog that goes into detail http://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-dns-hijacking-prevention

Have a go with Malwarebytes or whatever else gets mentioned on this post.

Then head over to opendns.com, follow their instructions, and set the opendns.com/welcome as your homepage
