Coin mining is a way to (usually) use your graphics card's processing capabilities to mine coins, which you can convert to usable currency. There are 3 main ones that you should take interest in: Bitcoin, which is best mined with ASIC miners. Ethereum, which is best mined on AMD graphics cards, and zCash, which is best mined on Nvidia graphics cards (1070 and up though, the 1060 doesn't seem to mine enough to be profitable).

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what GPU mining means and how it works. I heard a lot about but I'm not sure what it is and what is does...

Thanks!
