Hey, So my computer stopped working and i got one of those 4 pin speakers so i could hear what's wrong with my computer right, First time i used it it said new ram, so i got new ram. still nothing.

When i turn it on now it looks to be working fine but nothing happens on the screens and the speaker every like 5 seconds makes a split second static noise. Any help?

It was working fine then i took in on a plane (I moved country) And i bubble wrapped everything. but obv something broke. I also have 2 brothers and i know both of them would be happy to let me try their parts, but they have LGA 1151 CPU sockets so i can't try MB

(I have a i7-5820k

MSI x99a Raider

AMD HD 6600 (Could be something wrong with this one had to buy it after my gpu failed)

Cooler master 750W

Corsair H60i

Crucial ballistix 16GB DDR4-2400)

And help would be appreciated.

try resetting cmos and remove the HD6600 temporarily and use the internal gpu and see if it posts.

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?

My processor does not have internal GPU, And wouldn't the 4 pin speaker beep?

I also tried to reset Cmos (I held it for 5 seconds should i hold longer than this?)

ah right, one of those without a igp.. do you have any other gpu's to try with? loan one from a brother for testing?
or test your GPU on their rig to eliminate that as the problem?

this is kindof a grey area. but if you are still in norway, i know many stores have 30 day return policies, and you could technically buy a new cheap gpu and return it afterwards, though i don't really reccomend this practice unless in an "emergency". then again having a cheapo gpu for testing could be handy anyway

Cmos resets come in two flavours usually, a button or three pins with a jumper

but to be absolutely sure, try removing the power cable and the cmos battery and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds to drain power (if your motherboard has standby lights, they should be off for a couple of seconds atleast before reapplying the battery and power.) that should be a 100% certain way of resetting a bios.

i see this MB has a multi bios switch... try flicking that.. it should be located down by the sata 5/6 ports by the lowest pci-e slot

what didn't work? testing the GPU? resetting the bios? it's better for troubleshooting if we have more detailed replies of what was actually tested.

did you manage to eliminate the graphics card as working or faulty?
does the motherboard get power at all? does the system start (spinning fans etc)?
if not, pull out the 24pin ATX connector, find a paperclip or cable-tie or similar, and short the green wire (should be the fourth from the left when viewing it from one side) with a black one (any one, they are all ground) (see picture)
does the PSU start the fans/harddrives etc when doing that?

if it does, try removing everything except power from the motherboard (ie: cpu, ram, sata cables, usb etc) nothing but the 24pin ATX and 4/8 pin CPU cable should be attached (you can leave the power switch connected for ease of use)
and connect the diagnostic speaker. do you get any beeps or reactions at all from the motherboard?
try connecting one and one piece and try starting the system.

if nothing works; you probably have a faulty part, and would need another working system to test cpu and ram with, and to test another cpu/ram in your motherboard.

also, you probably already have done this, but i just have to mention it as i have seen it too many times;
your power switch on the powersupply is set to "ON"? the power cable works on other appliances? the outlet does have power?
