Poe max distance?

Short and sweet. If I run a Poe camera on a 300 foot long Ethernet run. Will it function?

If all devices conform to the 802.3x standards involves, yes, 328 feet max.

Nevermore.

It should. Do you have a cable to try it with?

I've seen some really long ethernet runs, up to 400 feet, and normally you see issues with data integrity before the voltage drop becomes an issue with powering the device.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

Yea, but going over the standard max distance while running passive PoE interduces safety issues, especially with shotty hardware.

I wasn't talking about passive POE, we only use active POE with our cameras and APs at work, and our switches output 52V instead of 48V to help with the voltage drop. Passive POE, since you are starting at 24V, would have much greater issues with voltage drop over long distances.
