Hello,

I'm planning a new build and I was thinking of the airflow for the Corsair Crystal 570X.

Want some advice on cooling.

So I'm going to be using the 3 120mm SP120 RGBs for intake at the front and an additional 2 SP120 RGBs for top and 1 for rear set for exhaust.

Because I'm going to be using a 360 rad, its going to be mounted at the front.

My first concern is that I've heard here and there these Corsair fans suck for radiator cooling. Would a push/pull for the rad help the airflow? If so, would it be okay to use the 3 pull performance fans with higher RPM?

Second concern is related to this - so the radiator is obviously going to cause some resistance for the intake. Assuming I don't use push/pull there are 3 fans for intake and 3 fans for exhaust, there will be negative pressure, because of the radiator. Am I right?

I know I'm oversimplifying things but I just want to think this through and I could really use a protip.

Thanks :)

Probably slight neg pressure. I'd go for high positive pressure on this case because of all the gaps between panels.

Yeah, I was thinking I might just reduce it to 2 fans for exhaust but that would reduce overall airflow.

Grab 3 Noctua NF-A12x15s and put them in a pull configuration on your radiator. If you don't mind the look of the fans and have the money, then grab 6 and put them in push/pull. Then grab 2 or 3 of the NF-S12B's and slap them on your exhaust slots depending on whether you went with pull or push/pull.

I would go for different fans but I feel like its a waste of money to use the crystal 570x and not use rgb fans, I'm basically buying it for it's aesthetic. I might just use those fans for pull on my radiator and the SP120 for push. Thanks for the advice xD
