Some manufacturers are more lenient than others.

 

EVGA straight out allows WBs.

 

If anything does happen to your card, make sure you keep the stock thermal pads and you will probably be able to RMA it. Just avoid mentioning waterblocks.

Isn't there like a sticker that breaks when you take off the stock cooler?

not all use tamperproof sealing. EVGA does not at this time. MSI does (sometimes

one can get around them). but just as you need a RMA, just re-assemble the GPU

with the factory cooler and allude to operation without water cooling, unless you

have water damage then you might have a problem.
