Hello! :D

I got a new gaming PC about a month ago, and one of the first games I installed was Battlefield 1. The game worked fine in Singleplayer, but once I logged on a muliplayer server I got some problems. My ping stays around 45 ping for 2 minutes, then suddenly my ping explodes. I tried to play a rush match just 10 minutes ago, and my ping went from 45 to 4609, and when I held tab it said I had 9999 ms... I have tried using both 2.4 and 5ghz internet. I am using Wifi. Going wired is not an option for me. I have tried using a Netgear N300 WiFi dongle, instead of the built-in AC WiFi, but sadly it didn't change sh*t. It's so weird, because I usually get 15-25 ping in CSGO, and there are no problems with extreme ping spikes in any other game. Does anyone know how to fix this weird issue?

Any help is appreciated :D

Try running an ethernet cable to your computer, it may fix the issue as it may not. I ran 200ft of ethernet cable up to my room and i get full advantage of my internet and lag spikes are now more related due to server distance and ISP or Server high usage.

If the problem persist, it may be a problem with the game files. maybe a complete re install will fix it
