I needed a monitor for testing PCs so I went on the usual cheap sites to hunt. right now I have a 21.5" 1920x1080 I think it's a bit small but it's whatever I see this Monitor on craigslist  going for $175 it's over my budget but I can probably negotiate down. Now the weird part of the Craigslist  listing is that it clearly states the Model HP LP3065 in the title but continues with 24" Computer Monitor I don't know if this is a mistake but looking up the model the monitor is 30". Also this monitor is 2560 x 1600 what's that supposed to mean is it close to 1440p or what?

No where in the page do I see it being titled as a 24 inch monitor. Some guy only compared it to a 24 inch monitor he had.

And 2560x1600 is the 16:10 standard. Like a normal 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor, but taller.

The guy on the Craigslist listing had it labeled as 24" also if u reply to this congrats on 3000 posts

I still don't see it being labeled as 24 inches anywhere, I must be blind (unless you linked a different one?). Also note that the one you linked in your first post doesn't actually come with a monitor stand.

PS. My post-count is actually way above 6,500+ counting with off-topic.
