Should I upgrade to Windows 10?

I'm mostly concerned about memory usage. My old laptop used to have 1-2GB of its 8GB used up by Win10, and I only have 4GB on this PC.

Personally I would recommend going with windows 10. It has nice features and is upto date. AS for your RAM issue, I would go out and buy another 2-4GB of (assuming) DDR2 Ram as its very cheap especially used.

I mean, if you can ship it to Australia, sure =P. i3 wouldn't fit in my current socket though, it's LGA1155.

Ill see how much shipping is, as for RAM, do you have slots that are empty? If so let me know how many. As for the i3-2120, I was offering so you might find a motherboard (like an OEM one for cheap)

Ah, fair. I don't have empty slots at the moment, all 4 are filled with 1GB sticks.

I have a Q6600 at the moment, but I'm actually pretty happy with it. Quad core, 2.4GHz, got it for free from an old family PC, no complaints there.

I have a pair of 2GB (2GB x 2) DDR2. If you can let me know what brand and/or speed and timing your sticks are so I can see if they will be compatible.

Mine are Samsung aswell but at 666Mhz with 12-E3 timings. They should work (maybe not at full speed tho). Would you want them?

Yeah, ok, but features I would actually be able to use/afford to use. Both the GPUs I have are PCIe 2.0, the SSD might be SATA III but it shouldn't make much of a difference, RAID scares me, USB 3 would be nice but I don't have many compatible devices, and I don't have anything using USB Type-C.
