The Squad Thread

So who at LTT plays the wonderful game, Squad.

I have since it started and play most days with our clan.

 

It's a great teamwork FPS if you ask me.

Just interested in finding out what you think of Squad and maybe having a round or 2 with you.

What is Squad? I don't know much about it, but it sounds cool (I love first person shooters, unless they're bloody and stuff).

Like I'd love to play Rise of the Tomb Raider because the story sounds awesome, but AFAIK, it's blood, blood, blood. Thus why I'm a fan of Battlefront and Destiny. Cant wait to get Battlefront 2 and Destiny 2 when they come out! And on the subject of blood and stuff, why waste processing power on particle effects to make it more gory? Why not use that same power for better smoke or awesome explosions and stuff?

Games that contains sexual content, i do not like them. I bet your games do not contain that content

Oh yeah. That crap doesn't need to be in any game. IDK why they put it in there, since it's not like people will stop playing games if the don't have nasty stuff. Thankfully, Star Wars Battlefront (both the originals and the reboots) have saved me on the FPS front. No sexual stuff, no gore, just a bunch of awesome lasers and the occasional "Growling Heck! It's a super!".

@Ordinarily_Greater. Just googled a review of Squad, and I'm off to watch some gameplay. It sounds pretty cool, except it's open comms so you have to be careful who you play with.

 We did kind of hijack your thread, didn't we? And I just Googled a gameplay, and it looks pretty cool. Not much gore, just a few wounds and the usual red vision when you're hit. I'll defo take a good look, especially since my brother loves military shooters as well.

no worries re thread hijack.

 

Squad is more like an Arma/Insurgency cross breed. Very teamwork and comms based, currently around 72 players on the server.

 

The sound and effects are amazing, as is the gameplay.

Last time was 3 weeks ago. I joined ESO with Morrowind again.
