Gotta say... recently got the Canon XA35.. it's been fantastic.  The auto focus is spot on.  Don't recall the resolution of the snap shot pictures it takes.

The on board XLR input for audio are a real winner.  Camera costs about $2,000 USD.  I pair this camera with a hand held stabilizer or a tripod most of the time.  It's been excellent.

If you want to check out some video made exclusively with it that I did at an event,  here you go.

Also just noticed you edited and added your budget, so I guess this won't be the one for you!  Now that I've typed all this though... eh.

A 1080p image is yielded by a 2mp sensor, so that not hard at least.

Look for a used Canon eos 750d with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Its a great beginner Camera, has tilting touch screen to use when filming yourself, a mic input, takes 1080p video and is part of a great ecosystem to expand within if you so desire.

If its a bit too rich for your blood, turn your pockets inside out and get it. If (and only if) its way outside your budget, maybe try the Canon 700d instead.

EDIT: To make sure, what do you mean by "a decent sensor"? What qualifies as decent in your mind?

My definition decent is uh i'm not a good camera person but the T6 is a little cheaper than the 700D and snow pesos is Canadian

I got the snow pesos thing.

Also, the t6 is the 1300d, which is in a line under the 750d. I would steer well clear, especially if you want to produce youtube videos with it. Hell, I would even say that you should spend a bit more and get the 750d. The AF system is a bit better, it has a newer processor (much more important than the sensor in a digital camera) etc.

If the 700d is outside your budget new, go used, or take the hint and understand that it is an important investment if you want to take this seriously, it isn't the most important. not by a long shot, but it contributes to the quality and lets face it you are sort of scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel here. You can do a great job, but with these cameras you are at the point where quality tends to decrease quite a lot for every dollar less you spend.

Also, if it is within your budget and you just want to "cheap out", save some money and get the 1300d, then you should consider that the time investment to make a channel work in 2017, where every idiot with a pc and broadband can upload videos. There is a lot of compettiton out there, If I click on something and it sounds or looks bad, I'll just leave in the first 3 seconds, after that, the content and preparation are what show, how many 10 minute videos are there out there that are just boring and you won't spend even that to see them through? Just another thing to consider.
