Was getting at least 70 to 80, sometimes hitting even 90 fps on medium graphic settings. Now it struggles to get past 60 with dips into the low 50s. I've tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers, reinstalling Windows 10, switching to Windows 8.1, setting power plan to 'High performance', taking the graphics card out and putting it into another PCI-e slot and tried using a different HDD and SSD. I honestly have no clue what could be causing the problem, everything was running smoothly in till today. :(

Have you installed something to keep an eye on the temperature of your system? It may be down to your thermals?

MSI Afterburner is a good utility for keeping an eye on the temperatures while playing. Also (an issue I was having), is making sure that GeForce Experience isn't applying a higher resolution than your monitor (DSR), this could also explain the sudden drop.

Thanks for the reply, it seems to have fixed it's self. Earlier I noticed that my GPU usage was lower that expected, 50 to 60%, so I don't know if that was the problem. My CPU usage was going up 70 to 90%. I am aware that a CPU bottleneck occurs when playing on more 'CPU' intensive maps with a higher player count, Siege being the big hitter. but, now i'm getting a nice 70 to 100 fps rarely dipping into the 60s which is ok, keep in mind i'm playing with 64 players. I also play with 75hz on my monitor, so hitting 60 fps makes it feel like 40. Will report back if it slows down again! Still have no clue what fixed it though.

How old is the card? Does it do it in other games? Could be failing or degradation?

The card is about two years old, it runs fine in every other game. there is no overheating issue that I know of, 30C on idle and about 60C on full load.

Ah okay, sounds a weird one this, try it on just a death match with not 64 players and see what the fps is, more players more cpu bottleneck as there is more going on and see how if fps are higher like that

Ok it seems as the fps drops to 60 at the max  its when its very close to 64 players or when it hit 64 players. 60 fps wouldn't be a problem, if I did not game at 75hz. I also for some odd reason get better fps on bf4 than I do in bf3.
