So I have this motherboard but I dont have a cpu for it, only ram. It therea way to see if the board is good with only ram ? I dont want to buy a cpu just to test it. I got the board from someone online for a few "lei" ( money ). Or any opinion on the board ? It is good, bad, let me know.

plug in power supply, short the power jumpers, plug in some things.

eg, if you have RGB ram see if it lights up

if you have a fan, plug it in

leave it on for a while and see if the northbridge heats up a bit

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

There isn't a way to test it you need the minimum, CPU, motherboard, RAM and PSU to test/post the board.

Mobo, ram, psu. But no cpu.I would buy a celeron just for testing but I probably would get stuck with that celeron because no one would buy it. :/

See if anyone is willing to lend a CPU that is probably the best solution if they are willing to help.

this test will reveal that the motherboard will work :P

its under the big heatsink near the bottom right corner (well on most of the motherboards ive seen)

Can you give me one ? :)

No spares on hand, as said you can do a basic power test without the CPU but not a lot more to see if it is actually see if it's a fully functional board. Maybe check local electronics stores to see if they have some they are willing to lend or just tossing out in their e-waste.

My country is not that rich to just "tossing out" expensive celerons. :)))
